Web and mobile applications

Web applications your customers and staff actually enjoy using

We build customer portals, internal tools, booking systems and mobile apps around the way your people really work. The result is software that is quick to use, simple to change and yours to keep.

Sound familiar?

Signs it is time for better software

Most of the apps we build replace a workaround that quietly grew into part of the business.

  • An important process runs on a spreadsheet that only one person fully understands.
  • Customers phone or email for things they should be able to do themselves online.
  • Staff copy the same information between three or four different systems every day.
  • Your current app is slow, looks dated on a phone and everyone is afraid to touch the code.
  • The agency that built it has moved on and nobody else knows how it works.
  • You have a product idea and need a first version that real users can try soon.
What we do

The kinds of software we build

We handle design, development, hosting and support, so you deal with one team from the first sketch to the day the thousandth customer signs in.

  • Customer portals

Secure areas where your clients can sign up, upload documents, check the status of an order or a case, pay and talk to you, without waiting for someone in the office to reply.

  • Internal tools and dashboards

The admin panels, approval flows and live dashboards that replace spreadsheets and email chains. Built for the people who use them all day, so every click counts.

  • Booking and ordering systems

Appointments, reservations, quotes and orders, connected to your calendar, stock, payments and accounting so nothing needs typing in twice.

  • APIs and integrations

Clean, documented APIs for your partners and apps, and dependable connections to the CRM, ERP, payment and messaging services your business already relies on.

  • Mobile apps

Native Android apps, apps from one codebase for both iOS and Android, or a fast web app that installs on a phone when a store listing is not worth the cost.

  • Rescuing older applications

We take over systems others have left behind, fix what is urgent, add tests and bring the code up to date step by step, while the business keeps running on it.

How it works

From first sketch to live product

You see working software early and often. Nobody disappears for three months and comes back with a surprise.

  1. Discovery

We meet the people who will use the app, map the process as it is today and agree what the first release must do. You get a written scope and a fixed price.

  2. Design

Clickable screens you can try before any code is written. It is far cheaper to change a design than a finished feature, so we test ideas here first.

  3. Build and test

Work arrives in small pieces you can use every week or two. Automated tests, code review and a staging copy of the app keep quality steady as it grows.

  4. Launch and improve

We handle the release, watch how people use it and fix the rough edges quickly. Then we plan the next set of improvements with you, based on real use.

Practices

Automated unit, integration and browser tests running in CI on every change. Peer review before anything reaches the main branch. Accessibility built to WCAG 2.2 AA, with keyboard and screen reader checks. Performance budgets tracked against Core Web Vitals. Security basics covered from the start: dependency scanning, secrets kept out of code, proper authentication and access by role.

Questions

Common questions

Anything else? Email info@avientiq.com and one of our engineers will reply.

Should we build a custom app or buy something off the shelf?

Buy if a good product already does most of what you need. Build when the process is what makes your business different, or when you are paying for three tools and gluing them together by hand. We are happy to tell you if an existing product would serve you better.

Can you take over an app someone else built?

Yes. We start with a short review of the code, the hosting and the documentation, then tell you plainly what state it is in. Sometimes tidying up is enough. Sometimes a gradual rebuild makes more sense. Either way we will explain the cost and the risk of each option.

Do you build mobile apps as well?

We do. For many clients a fast, installable web app covers what they need at a lower cost. When you need camera, sensors, offline work or a store listing, we build native Android apps, or apps from a single codebase that run on both iOS and Android.

Who looks after the app once it is live?

You choose. We can stay on for support and new features on a monthly basis, or hand everything to your own developers with documentation, access and a proper walkthrough of how it all fits together.
